Oak wood has great strength and hardness, and has a very attractive grain markings, particularly when quarter-sawn. Oaks are divided into two basic categories: white and red. The Oak woods we select for the Pantry Classic knives are Red Oak ranging in color from light tan to golden brown. All the wood finishes are semi-gloss. |
